Chapter Six

I sighed as I looked out my bedroom window. Summers in Scotland were gorgeous. Beside me sat Gloria, also enjoying the sunset that was shown. My bedroom was on the top of the house and overlooked the whole farm. I had a window seat and a balcony that stood opposite from, each other. My friends used to tease me and say that I was Juliet and that one-day John was going to come and be my Romeo and we would do the balcony scene. I always laughed, not letting on how much I would enjoy that.

"Enjoying the sunset ladies?" we both turned to find John leaning against the doorway, arms crossed across his chest. His white shirt was opened, so we could see his smooth chest. Water ran down his face from the wet locks he had. His smile nearly made me die, for it was gorgeous. He walked over, sat behind me, and put his arm around me. I leaned up and kissed him.

"What are you trying to do? Be Jeanette and Nelson?" I burst out laughing. John gave us a face. Lately Gloria and me had been watching old movies and we had come across a pair of operetta singers named Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy. John never liked the romantic movies like we did but he smiled.

"Yes, we are" He leaned down and KISSED me. It was not an everyday kiss, it was a once-in-a-life-time-kiss-from-the-movies Kiss. Whenever we stopped, we were both were out of breath. John looked at me and we just stared at each other for a while. When we looked over at Gloria, she almost seemed as if she was about to cry. John noticed and looked at me, silently telling me to find out what made her sad. He said goodbye and left, stopping at the door and looked back at me.

"Glorie, what’s wrong." she looked up at me in surprise.

"Who said anything was wrong?"

"I know your facial expressions really well. You may be my future sister n' law but I still know you like you were my older sister." Gloria smiled a bit before her frown returned.

"Nothing much." she replied. "It's just that I remember when Jules used to kiss me like that. There are sometimes I doubt he loves me anymore." she sighed before continuing." He seems to be avoiding me allot. I haven't seen him alone for ages because of the kids and he even decided to stay with them for the weekend, even though Cyn offered to watch them." Gloria walked out of the room then and over to her room. My aunt had said that we should have separate rooms so the house wouldn't feel so empty, although the way Auntie was smiling, there had to be an alternative reason for it.

I went downstairs and went into the living room, where I heard voices. Who was there was what shocked me. On the couch beside John sat both of his brothers. Sean looked like a New Yorker, like he was. His hair was once again a blond. He constantly dyed his hair blond and had it slightly spiked. Julian looked different. His once long hair was cut into slightly longer then John's. He was wearing his contacts so he looked amazingly like his father. They all looked up at me as I entered the room.

"What? Do I have twp heads or something." I asked when I noticed them staring at me.

"No, It's not that. We just didn't think you be here."

"I live here, Sean!"

"I meant down stairs, John said you and Glorie were upstairs."

"I was and she is" They all gave a sigh of relief.

"Annie?" came a voice. Julian rushed from the room and was un-noticed by Gloria when she entered." Oh, there you are. I have been looking all over for you. Hey What's Sean and Melanie doing here?" Melanie was Sean's new girlfriend. He and Yoka had broken up four months before and he had met Lanie at a party Julian had held for His 25th birthday. They had started dating two months later.

"Hi to you too Lorie." Sean said, smiling "How are you" He walked up and hugged her.

"Umm. Good." she resounded, a little wary of Sean, since Sean never came to visit me. Yoko and my father never really got on well, so Sean wasn't as close to us as Julian was.

"That's good." Sean smiled. Like both his brothers, he had a killer smile that made woman want to faint in his arms. "Guess who came to see you?"

A/n: Sorry this is sooo short. It will be longer next time. I just haven't updated in a loooonngg time.
